Keeping it simple as we enter the gift of this new year, 2020, I just want to with all of you a very happy and blessed new year.
May this new year be a year filled with happiness for you, happiness that comes from deep within, from the truest places of the heart and soul. May you be filled with the happiness that comes from knowing that you are loved, and that you are capable of being a gift of love to so very many people. May you be overwhelmed by the happiness that comes from a life that is lived for the sake of others as well as yourself, and from knowing that others are living for your sake.
May this new year be a year filled with a deep awareness of all the many ways you are blessed. Blessings come to us in so many ways, from so many places, from the hearts of those near and dear to us, from the hearts of those who will be new to us, from the hearts of those who will depart from us. Blessings come to us in expected ways and unexpected ways, may you be fully aware of both. Blessings can bring great change and small change, may you receive both with joy. Blessings cause us to laugh and to cry, may you experience both fully. Blessings feed us and allow us to feed others, in ways physical, spiritual, and emotional, may you be richly fed and may you feed richly.
May this new year bring you ever closer to the God who cherishes you beyond measure, who loves you without limits, who adores you more than you will ever understand. May you feel God’s love in your life every day, and may you share that same love with all the people who are in any way a part of your life this year. May you know the fullness of God’s outpouring of grace, and may you rejoice at every blessing God pours out upon you daily.
May this year of 2020 be a year of hope, peace, and joy. May it be a year filled with good things. May it be a year in which you find yourself being made new, and being made better, every day. May this new year of 2020 be a holy year of grace for you all.
Happy New Year!
Peace,
Pr. Paul
