In worship we hear God’s word read from the Bible and explained for every day living. We experience God’s presence as we listen for His word and receive His grace. We offer ourselves to God in prayer and we lift up to God the church, the world, and all who are in need of God’s presence in their lives. We raise our voices to God in song and in spoken and sung liturgy.
We offer two worship services:
Our 8:00 AM Service
Our first service is a spoken service with Holy Communion. All baptized Christians are welcome at the Lord’s Table, where together we receive the body and blood of our Lord Jesus.
Our 9:30 AM Service
Our second service is filled with music, scripture, preaching, and prayer. On the first Sunday of the month we receive Holy Communion. The nursery is available during this service for children up to age 5.
On the third Sunday of each month we gather together for a Contemporary Praise service featuring our Church band, Messenger. This family service (including child care after the children’s message) is held in our Fellowship Hall. It replaces the traditional service usually held in the church at this time. This service is informal, and is filled with music, praise, and prayer.
Sunday School classes are held at 9:00 AM, allowing those coming to either the early or late service to attend while making only one trip out to church.
Our Summer Service
During the summer months (Father’s Day in June through the Sunday before Labor Day in September) we offer a combined Worship Service service at 9:15 AM with communion on the first and fourth Sundays. There is no Sunday School classes during the summer months
